Notice the state of Thomas's drivers seat. At least we know where his priorities are. [^]

Way beyond my ambitions. I just want some nice sounds, not a mobile earthquake machine [:o)]

Have you considered using a "bass cannon"? Perhaps you could somehow strap the amplified bass tube in the trunk under the rear deck beside the filler?

I'm currently using one of those behind the seat active 6 1/2" subwoofer units - kenwood brand. The added bass is welcomed, but still not sufficient. This is in my coupe.

you guys, these are SPORTS CARS, not big-daddy pimp-mobiles[:(!] as for me, i'd rather hear what's goin' on with the motor/trans, tire noise & such to keep in tune with the machine[:p] i may omit the radio when re-installing my interior, as there's NO WAY to get ANY stock door-mount speakers to fill even that small cabin with the full range of sound, due to their lack of size & location. not a big fan of stereo-equipped motorcycles, either[V] ain't i a stick in the mud?

For someone with tinnitus that looks like a torture chamber.

Hey FI Spyder. You put your rear tire one inside outwards. [:D]

I bought a Peugeot 306 convertible a couple of years back. I mistakenly thought it might suffice as a daily driver.

It had 2 huge speakers, in a large box in the boot. They were the ones that went boom boom, with very little tone. I believe these are what you are talking about.

The thing had a $2000+ sound system the add said. Unfortunately the instructions for this system were not supplied, so I could not turn them down. The noise, though the hood box & hood between them & the driver was horrific. I had a headache in a couple of minutes.

They lasted just the drive home, & were out in 10 minutes of getting there.

My youngest daughter, the stupid one wanted them back in there, after I gave her the car. I could then not ride in it, with the sound system turned on.

Yes I am getting old & grumpy.

That's what EFI with Ox sensor gives you.[;)]

Still looks like that.
