changed the coolant at the weekend and added a bottle of
k-seal, seams to have done the trick!!(fingers crossed)

steve, my fhc has a wet passanger footwell and is coming in sill side but from stripping my dhc and sitting in it in the rain you find out why,......

if the plastic seal on the door is loose on the bottom of the door you get the leak you mention, i sat in my dhc with no door cards or plastic, and the water runs down the inside of the door but due to the angle of the door the water drips inside the door seal!!!! this did my head in after i fitted new door seals and still had wet footwells until i noticed this, make sure the plastic on the bottom of the door is sealed and the leak should stop.....[:D]

Not sure why you should get any water in foot wells from doors/windows. Although (or maybe because of) I have the VB style of door cards with seals on inside of window and new seals on the out side of windows no water to speak of should get into the interior. The year of the big rain at ABFM in Portland, the night before was a wind driven rain storm. The car had slightly wet drivers seat, passenger seat was dry because of the direction of the wind. During the morning of the show it rained pretty hard with only a few rain drops that trickled down inside of the window. Carpet was dry.
