We all have a moan about Rimmers but..........
Have any of the other suppliers invested in such an extensive website as theirs complete with on-line pictures from the original parts books?
Do the others offer online ordering for virtually every 7 & 7V8 part and does it still work at midnight?
Cox and Buckles, Moss or whatever they're called now told me 20 years ago that Rimmers had taken the lead for 7 parts as they had invested ahead in 7/8 parts when no-one else did. Hence Moss had entered too late and couldn't compete.
A well known restorer (since sold up) also had a moan since Rimmer's didn't give trade discounts and offered a flat price to everyone whoever they were.
On the other hand I still prefer Robsport (it's a cracking 40 mile drive in the 7V8 to collect parts) and S&S occasionally. Rimmers attract my money when they have one of their sales on and I need a higher priced item, such as the uprated m/cylinder & servo I bought a couple of years ago.
If Rimmers are too pricey then don't buy from them.

I spent 18 months working in Copenhagen and had to use a Danish keyboard. Extra letters in the Danish alphabet.......and different functions on the keyboard.
