Canvas print

Postby tr7dan » 16 Mar 2018 12:14

I just had a large canvas print done by Pics2posters of a photo I took back in 1982 when I bought my DHC and I can't tell you how good it's turned out.

I took the pic on my trusty OM1 on Ainsdale beach with my then girlfriend (now wife) and recently scanned the 35mm negative to a digital file. I edited it in Lightroom slightly which included cropping, slight exposure mods and dust speck removal before uploading it to Pics2posters website. I was gobsmacked when the print arrived within 48 hours and the quality is unbelievable.

It's now hanging in my media room and, as I'm well on with the process of getting the car back on the road, I hope to eventually re-visit Ainsdale beach and recreate the pic nearly 40 years after I took the first one

Cost was £58 including hanging kit, image enhancement and postage and size is 44 inches x 22 inches

That looks great. But I particularly like the record deck!
