Bulb size – above the heater switches

I am looking to replace the bulbs above the heater switches, with led’s.

From what I can work out (size) they appear to be the “BA7s” as the BA9s look too big at the base. Can anyone confirm that before I order them?

I really cannot understand this debate on LED's researched all of this in a detailed 3 part article that was summarised some time ago in the TR Driver, Wayne even offered to send the whole article to those that contacted him.

After all it is an internet forum about tr7/8 all questions are welcome, if no comments on the forum it goes quiet and if it goes quiet the forum will not exists, i have seen this before. There are lots of subjects that questions are asked over and over again, that is just the nature of a forum.

In my opinion if it counts, if people are asking the question, they are working on there car, and if they are working on there car it is another tr being loved on the road.



From memory it is BA7's but i did not use them, i went down the route of led strip from Maplin.



Just cut the strip as required

Cheers guys. This is my latest project and it seems to he going really good at the moment. I have done a bit of research from a number of places (your article being one of the Sautie, thanks for sending) and have purchased a number of bulbs. Hopefully they will be here soon.

I do like the led strip stevie and think I will put one of them in my boot. That should light it up nice. Do agree that there is a bit too much.
