Happy Birthday Hasbeen

Postby Ianftr8 » 28 Feb 2017 20:40

Hi Hasbeen,

I see elsewhere that it is your birthday (or was in your part of the world). It's been fairly quiet on the forum for a while but it is always great to see your postings.

Cheers

Thanks fellers. Nice of you to think of me.

I don't actually get a birthday this year. As a leap year boy, [29 of February] I only get a birthday every 4 years.

My next birthday will be in 2020, if I make it that far, to the age of 80, but only my 10Th birthday.

This is not that bad really. I take either the 28Th of Feb. or the 1St of March, which gives ne 2 chances of my birthday being on a holiday.

So thanks again.

Hasbeen

Yeah, Happy Birthday :) . Wish I could be 10 again, got to stick with 64 in a couple of months, no wonder the wife cannot understand me crawling around under old cars. Think she is right at times  .

Happy Birthday Hasbeen,

Some more "back in the day anecdotes please". I have forgiven you but not forgotten that you wouldn't adopt me almost 9 years ago. :)

Happy birthday Hasbeen. You are a real resource here and helps me keep my quadrilingual capabilities up to date (English, Canadian, American and Australian).

Happy birthday Phil, regardless that the calendar skipped it.

Being born on 29 Feb must feel different.

It reminds me of Frederic's story from G&S's The Pirates of Penzance.
