Could someone please put up an image of the back-end of the Red TR7 with the BMW E30 rear light conversion?

Thanks all....

Just what I wanted!
I'll be bringing a pair to Billing on Sunday - Gaz will determine the price [or we may even hold a silent auction] as I've donated them to the Parkinson Charity Bring-and-Buy that he's running. Please form an orderly queue!

Hi, that looks like the same car I saw several years ago, I had a E30 3 series at the time and it looked to me like they had also used the complete rear panel from the BMW as the way the lights wrap around into the rear wing would make it difficult to seal for water getting into the boot area, the black number plate surround is also E30.
I think this is the best looking non standard light conversion.
Good luck.

Regards Scott.

Hi,

Have to agree with my learned friend Scott, not going to be a mornings work but with Andrew's rear lights you have a good starting point, there is a filler panel on Ebay at moment -

But looking at the conversion there has been other tin work done too.

Have to agree cleanest looking rear light conversion

Cheers John

They do actually look good for a light conversion.
Thanks Andrew, the amount of spares been offered for the Bring 'n' Buy Auto Jumble is fantastic, and I just hope we are able to fill he charity pot on the day/days.
If you have anything for the Auto Jumble you'll find me at the Blue Gazebo which hopefully will be close to marquee.

That looks quite smart, any chance of a complete rear end picture in full?
I guess this looks similar to the SD1 tail light conversion?

This is the only other picture I've seen of this conversion.

I personally think the SD1 lights don't fit the space as nicely as the E30 lights.

Note the different treatments to the outside bottom edges of the boot lid on these two conversions.

Yeah the SD1 lights look like what they are.....lights from another car grafted on.
But those BMTroubleyou lights look like they are OEM.
