Andrew's silver fixed head is the main car on the front cover. Absolutely bloody brilliant! Just a shame my copy didn't turn up yesterday as expected because I had a good wind-up planned for young Andrew (AKA Maxwell).

Practical Classics and most of the other classic mags have really got behind our cars. Alex Riley is making a new TV series for the BBC with Chris Turner's original blue fixed head getting a good airing. And we have major 40th anniversary commemorations scheduled for September on both sides of the Atlantic. The TR7s day has finally come.

All we need now is for someone to produce a DVD [:)]!

I have my copy.........

Nice to see one our cars taking centre stage and an honest write up. I don't how many articles I've read over the years saying that wedges will never be cheaper, including this one.

The previous issue had a write up of Robsport on the inside back page with Simon stating that he'd sold out his stock of wedges as they're selling faster than he can find them. maybe we're due a small increase in the market?

Nooooooo.....[:0]

As someone who would never sell his car and may want others in the future I say keep 'em cheap!

Too late, I already think that the TR7's have crept up in value, you can't buy a reasonably solid one anymore for £175 [;)]

Triumph TR7 DHC
Triumph 2.5 Estate
Triumph 2000 Saloon
Bentley Turbo R RL
Mercedes 320SLK
Jaguar X-Type Estate
Rover Vitesse SD1
Kawasaki GPZ

The car is unable to handle my driving capabilities

hmm, the article says that the X1/9 has a better cockpit. I like the X1/9 but I think it looks far less 'X-Wing fighter' inside than the good old 7! I've never sat in one mind, I could be wrong.

I've had mine for 28 years and no intention to sell.

Many would be restorers are not going to spend several thousand pounds / dollars more than the car will be worth when complete. A few grand more on a condition 1 car may help.

I would suggest that the author of said article must be somewhere south of 6 foot in height or he wouldn't know what the inside of an X1/9 cockpit looked like! The TR7 has exceptional room for the taller driver. (I'm 6' 4" and heightist if you hadn't already guessed).[:)]
