early car look away roy

Postby birminghamtr7 » 22 Jan 2014 10:54

just browsing through my photos and found these couple I took of a roof I bought a year or so ago from chesire, he cut it while I waited he is building a rally car and this car was surplus. its was a very early one. its seems a waste looking back but from memory it did need a bit too much work plus all running gear and engine were out, but still have the roof. Sorry Roy .. is I hadn't got there it was going to be weighed in anyway.[V]

I can hardly bear to look Simon.

It looks as if it may of been a rare auto version judging by the auto box on the left of the picture. If so this makes your sin twice as bad. [:D]

Seriously, I'm okay as long as the car was beyond saving. It's when a sound car gets destroyed just for a roof or some other part that I'll start spitting feathers.

You are forgiven Simon

those taillights are worth more than the whole body,as even the lenses now are no longer available from VB or moss. VB lists the amber inserts at $79.95 each,on sale![:0]
