Alternator connector

Postby dursleyman » 27 Jul 2013 13:28

Got a 25ACR alternator in the garage I want to try on the TR7 but it has an unusual connector arrangement. I can use separate spades but does anyone know where these connectors are used or where I can get one, might be a Jaguar?
(I know the picture also shows a 20ACR but its a nice clear picture)

Lots of other alternator types out there I know but just wanted to try it out.

My alternator uses separate connections. Don't know if it's always been like that, they look original (deteriorated insulators). In the process of changing the bearings I cleaned the commutator with sandpaper to clean it up maximizing the output ((I believe). I never have the problem of slowing down turn signal when idle even with lights on and fan going (Speed change is minimal).
