He's actually in Battersea Ian. I think they just get shipped from Herefordshire. Great bloke is David Weguelin and has been a major help to me in sourcing archive film from the BMIHT archives. He's always too busy though - a bit like me really!

Just watched the DVD.
The film at the beginning is a bit odd but the rally stuff is good.
Surprised how dated the footage of John Buffum's TR7 Sprint engined rally car looks. Not to mention the clothing fashions. Good to see the in-car stuff of him giving the car thorough testing.

Also loved the stuff of Tony Pond in the TR7V8 rally cars. No question he got the most out of the car. His wins in Ypres and The Isle of Man were top class. Totally committed driving by a master who is sadly missed.

I want to say that we have shown the Tony Pond and the John Buffum rally films several times at TR Drivers Club national weekends. We've probably shown the others too but certainly not the one which has shots of the Speke production line. And the Tony Pond film has been available for over four years on a Motorfilms Quarterly DVD. Buffum & Co. was not issued previously owing to the master video being faulty for about a minute with the picture going into black and white so perhaps a replacement 16mm print was found to re-transfer.
