Why do you have to undo it? The factory manual model, at least in the U.K. simply pushed down. supercass

I have to loosen the rear fender aerial at its pivot & lay it down.

Then of course I have to stop, get out, [sometimes difficult for me] & go & raise the thing a few yards down the road, because I forgot to do it, & the radio won't work. It is probably this which I am really complaining about.

Still the 8s electric aerial avoids this old forgetful bloke problem.
