Fitting new doors

I have had new doors on my car as the old ones were not worth repairing. I have put them on and they need to aligned, the top of the door is down a bit towards the back end. So that would point me in the direction of putting spacers on the bottom hinge to push the door up the bit that is needed.

One question though, should the Plate/Washer (the solid one with three holes)go between the hinge and the door? As at the moment I have the inside the door and think this is wrong now.

According to an old Rimmers catologue I have it is described as an adjusting shim, part no's ZKC3302 and ZKC2. It is shown between the hinge and a thinner shim plate, so it seems it should go between the hinge and the door. As it seems to be for adjustment you could use two on one hinge which may solve your problem. supercass

Look like I will have to sort this out quite quick as I do not want the door catching on the body when it is closed and scraping of pain.
