I've now done a few hundred Km in the Honda S2000. It is a really lovely car, & this one with only 27,000Km on it is in as new condition.
I have got used to the quick steering, although it would be better if a little slower, & it's ergonomics are almost as good as the 7. It will putter around like a shopping trolley, with 7 type performance, or change it's temper to be like the 300 BHP+ 8, just by changing your gear change points. It really is great.
However, today was a lovely 27C day, with a nice cool breeze, & no prospect of showers, so of course, when I had to go to town I took the 7. That beautiful seat is so welcoming, when you get in, you are at home. The car just fits.
I think she must have been missing her outings with all the rain, & she pured all the way to town & back.
I did notice all the attention she got, much more than the Honda, or the Peugeot. I must have been used to it before, as I have not noticed for a while.
Yes, the others are nice cars, & the Honda is very quick for such a civilised thing, but none of them can match the Triumph for pure pleasure to drive.
