It was a nice day here in Vancouver, Washington. I took the battery off of the trickle charger and popped it into the car. I pulled the coil wire and cranked it for about 2 seconds till the oil pressure light went off. Then hooked the coil back up and fired her right up. I took a short but enjoyable ride in the warm sun. I got home and replaced the tach with one from the Wedge Shop and mounted the Tex passenger side mirror. Then I took another little drive to check everything. It's really nice that the tach doesn't drop to zero after revs climb past 4000 any more, and it's nice to be able to see behind the passenger side. They weren't very big jobs but I've been too busy with other things to do anything with the Triumph. So it was nice to get anything accomplished, regardless of how small. It was also a blast to drive her again, for the first time since November. It has clouded over and is starting to rain again. Who knows when I'll get to take her out next. Maybe I need to get a top?
