every oil-filter I've ever bought had the o-ring gasket included in the box ....some even had a choice of sizes ....

I get my filters from the local British car supplier in my area (basically just to support him) ...though I be willing to bet even your local NAPA ect would be able to help you out as I've found many of the regulars in my area can still get basic stuff (perfect example last summer I had the rear wheel brake cylinder crap out on me in the parking lot of my work/shop, and since it was an emergency , decided to call the local parts place two blocks away from where I was, well to my suprise they got me the part within 24hrs....and it looked identical to what VickyBrit sells in there catalog)

Victoria British is in Kansas. They have alot of bits and pieces as well as the regular maintenance items at cheaper prices and sometimes cheaper quality.

There is British Parts Northwest in Oregon, they have most maintenance items and tend to carry the better quality brand name parts. Sometimes you don't want to take a chance on quality of parts such as brake and clutch overhaul kits, etc. They are knowledgeable and sometimes throw in candies in the order.[:)]

There is Moss Motors US in California.

They have a Moss Motors in UK as well. (different parts selection).

For those more unusual and complete selection of parts there is Rimmers in UK. Here in Canada it's often as cheap to get from there as the US. They have some good sales through out the year, best usually in winter.

There are two specialty shops in UK that often have lower prices than most, are very knowledgeable of our product and as such are often used by people on this forum. These are Robsports and S&S Preparations. They also have a selection of no longer available or hard to get used parts.

Often you can get often used parts (like oil filter w/ rubber gaskets) from you local auto parts store. They may be higher priced slightly but the convenience of getting them right away often outweighs.

The TR7 takes 20-50 oil, I usually by Castrol GTX when it's on sale at Canadian Tire or Walmart (I buy ahead of time). If you do your own work (most of us do) you can often set up a cash account at your auto parts store if you ask. I've got a 40% (up to) cash discount account at my local auto parts store and 40% (up to) discount through my car club (Old English Car Club) at Lordco, an auto parts chain.

Don't forget that Saab used the same engine in there early cars. You can probably find the Saab parts easier than the Triumph ones. BAP carries engine parts for the Saab, you just have to know that they will work. But If you are NOT going to show your car, why not do the spin-on conversion, then you can get your oil filters from any auto parts!

Here is the Moss unit. I only use WIC or NAPA Gold series filters (both made by WIC) as our investagations two years ago found that WIC were the best.

Just go toy your local NAPA and order it. My brother owns a NAPA store so he always has one in stock just for me. But they all have it in the books and can get it in a day or two at most. Rubber gasket included.

Part # NGF1184
or if want a WIX filter it would be 51184
