Removing latch handle from exterior door lock

Postby Marsu » 30 Nov 2010 17:39

I'd like to powder coat the exterior door lock surrounds (XKC795 / XKC796).

Has anyone got advice on how to remove the latch handle from them?

Knock out the pin on the right ...

Make sure the grooved end comes out first,
so drive it out from the opposite side.
