Hi,
Has anyone picked up extra gearbox whine after changing their remote housing gearbox bushes to poly items, or replaced the gearbox mount?
It's only noticeable in 1st and 2nd and comes through the shortened S&S gearstick. The correct anti-rattle spring and plunger etc are all there. I've heard reports that overly hard rubber gearbox mounts could cause extra noise. Any item would have been harder than the slimy one I replaced at the same time.
