It's a beautiful day.......

Postby busheytrader » 01 Sep 2010 15:16

and it would have been rude not to have driven the 7V8 out in the sunshine today. [8D]

After a miserable August that never seemed to stop raining, I had a rest day so drove to St Albans and back in the wedge (the long way round taking in bridges and high walls for that V8 burble) to visit my parents.

Fantastic, although I might have to look at one of the front wheel bearings.[:)]

Quick, get out there before it starts raining again.

Adam

Nice to hear that someone is able to spend time with their car without having a spanner in their hand. Yesterday was the 1st day of Spring down-under - so just another 3 months til the weather gets better for us poor Kiwis. [xx(]

Nice to hear...Not far from you in Bushey/St Albans. Drive from Hemel to Dunstable over the Downs....lovely blast !

Hopefully a few more days this month before it gets moved to the back of the garage for winter.

If it isn't broken, I can still fix it

It's hard to relate to the weather problems some of you experience. In south East Queensland (in fact most of Australia) we have 6 weeks cold weather (minimums 0-10), 6 weeks hot weather (maximums 30-40) and the rest of the year is good for open or closed top driving.

I really miss that. [B)]

I'm jealous of you guys - I really wish I had my '7 to drive, I'm starting to forget what it's like. Several times this year I've considered buying a cheap DHC so I can get my TR fix while I'm working on the FHC. But if I did that I'd never have any money for the project![:I]

Still, this good weather means more time spent at the garage (actually working, rather than huddled inside waiting for the rain to stop), so it's not all bad!

Was he worried about his hair-dress or is there another reason why he didn't have the roof down [:p]
