To Scrap - or Spare?

Hi Guys

Here's the delimma. I need the space in the garage, but am unsure what to do with all the spare parts I've accumulated over the years.

Have eight plastic wheel trims [from an early FHC] any intrinsic value, or should I just bin them? They are of the large, dinner-plate variety that cover all the steel wheel.

What about four SU Carbs and manifolds - condition and parentage unknown? A clutch plate...?

A front bumper-iron from a 1980 Drop Head, a cracked center cover and two rubber side-light inserts that have gone 'baggy'?

What about two partly cannibalised 2.0l engines, neither of which have been heard running?

Is it just scrap - or a valuable asset for someone?

Advice needed, please!

what side of the pond are you located? I'd like to acquire a stock carb/intake set-up, intact, for experimentation & comparison to the Mikuni dual-carb set-up my '76 fhc came with, provided it's accessible stateside. I wouldn't pitch ANY usable bits! they're not making any more of them![:0]whatever you think is junk, someone out there has a use for![:p]

I know what you mean about not junking things, but my garage is four miles away, rented, and I need the space!

Just put them on ebay, with a low start price and no reserve. Even if you end up selling the bits for 99p each, at least you'll know they've gone to someone that can use them, rather than being scrapped.
If you can't be bothered selling each bit individually, you can stick all the smaller bits in a box and sell it as a job lot - I've bought a couple of boxes of bits like this, which have yielded quite a few useful parts for me.

Maxwell, I could tell you were from the UK. If you hang around here a while you notice the language difference. [:D] Plus the reference to a multi-piece bumper cover.

I hate tossing out stuff they don't make anymore. Hope you can find a good home.
