Simon, I think the original colour could be Saffron, a quite rare and attractive colour. There are a lot of red 6s out there, almost all the Magenta and Mimosa cars are now red. I prefer the yellow but I like them in any colour.

As far as paint colour...paint it the original colour, your favourite colour or the colour least often seen in your area. If all three apply then the decision is made. Otherwise it's takes some pondering.
