Actually I thought it holds up pretty good. My car is from south of Sacramento till 2006 and when I picked it up June 6th (early summer) it was over 90F so hot I didn't dare put the top down. It only has a slight warp, only noticable if your looking for it. A little tweaking of the hold down feet would probably hold it down perfectly flat.
