A TR shaggin' wagon! Probably would've sold well here in Oz during the '70's up against the sandman and drifter panelvans!

I thought that kit looked familiar.....I have a few Gunze Sangyo TR7 Model kits somewhere here....They didn't do a bad job scrathbuilding the wagon end either...Looks pretty cool.

The model does look better than the real thing!
Looks like they cheaped out and used the FHC door glass and frame.
It would have looked much better (like the model) with the top of the door wrapping into the roof and a more rectangular rear side window.
BMW Mini Clubman type rear doors probably would have worked out better as well.

I like it - what about following the curve of the roof back and down (like the smart roadster coupe)?

It might be possible to make a DHC hardtop like this which would clip on (if the boot was removed.).

Tempted to build a clay prototype now!
