INTERIOR MAP LIGHT

hi all at the moment on ebay there seems to be afew interior map lights on auction, they say they were fitted to early Tr7's but will fit later models, has anyone seen these on a 7, i have to be honest i have never seen these on a 7 before... Part No is UKC8836, id be interested to hear of anyone who has one fitted to there car.

They are mounted between the two seats on the back wall (Rear Bulkhead trim panel)

I have seen them on very early cars, one was on a 76 car that I dismantled.

You can see it on page 73 of the current Rimmers catalogue, look at the "Interior lighting and Boot Lamp" drawings at the bottom of the page.

I bought one for my 77 FHC, the seller posts on this site, he said that he had bought a few new "old stock" lights and so was selling them through ebay. The one i received was in perfect condition and it was posted immediately.

Many thanks all, ive seen them on ebay but cos i have a later model ( 1980 convertible) i didnt know if it would work on my 7 or not daft as that sounds.
