These nationals have been held in a different state each year, in
rotation. We had it in Queensland last year, & it was a real success.

Unfortunately the cost for the host state is going through the roof,
with the cost public liability insurance becoming ridicules. This
has led to a strong movement to make the things every second year,
which I think would probably slowly kill them.

Meanwhile, we'd best enjoy them, while we can. Perth is such a long
way however, I may try to rent a car, for the week.

I would actuall seriously think about attending, if my car was registed.
