Castle Combe Classic, Retro and Spotrscar Action Day is on
Saturday 6 June 2009. It was a great day out last year. Be even better if a few of us wedgies coud meet up

Excellant venue, I use to go to this event with about 7 more wedges about 4 years ago now. We have all been going to the Rally day, which is in September usaully.
I can recommend a good local B&B if anyone interested.
I will pass on the date just incase nyone interested in this one.

Yes, it is a great day out with some well sorted classics out on the track. The MGBGT with a 4.6 Rover engine was simply awesome, it just left everyone for dust lap after lap all day long.
The driver of the Ferrari done his best, but was no match for the MGBGT or the Austin A40 who was on the Ferrari's tail every lap just running out of grunt to pass him.
So good to see these classic and retro cars giving them modern cars a run for their money. Can't wait for the next one.

Just incase you enjoy Castle Coombe Classic and fancy another event at this location the Rallyday is on the 19th September.
I have already booked some TR7 & TR8 for this event but more are welcome so feel free to get intouch.

I'm in got my tickets today. If you ring the Circuit on 01249 782417 and quote Classic cars 09 for £20 you get a weekend ticket at 2 for 1 price. Check out this months Classic cars magazine page 31 for more details.
Any ideas to meet up then?[8D][8]
