Belgian Triumph Club: TRIUMPH festival 21st Sept

Postby lebochet9 » 09 Sep 2008 21:17

The Belgian Triumph club is holding its annual TRIUMPH festival (yes, all models) on the weekend of 20-21st September in VIROINVAL in the Namur region of Southern Belgium. The event iteself will be at Château Licot in NISMES. Sunday will be the main day.

(I'm not sure what is planned for the Saturday - I have asked. There seems to be accomodation in the region, but I don't know about camping)

The intent is to try to bring together as many TRIUMPH cars as possible and beat last years record of 260 cars.

The meeting is free and all participants will receive a plaque, sticker and suprise gift as well as 2 roadbooks, (so presumably road-runs are planned)

Here is a link to the invite, (Text in French)
http://www.triumph-belgium.be/pages/invitations.htm

Registration using the link on the page is not required, but welcomed.

I am planning to go, at least on Sunday, as there are not so many event like this down here, but weather will be a decsion factor.

Anyone else who is interestd give me a shout and maybe we can meet up.

We usually go up there with a diverse selection of Triumphs (Dolly, Stag, TR6, GT6 & TR7) but can't make it this year. Everyone thought it was one week later and planned other things [B)]
