I went up a couple of years ago, Paul, it's about 2&1/2 hours for me. It was the year Alec Pringle took his yellow TR7 drag car, & Bert Smeets was there with JJO931W.

It was a good show, well attended. There were a lot of 7s there, parked together. I would say worth it. Don't know if I can go this year, but I am working on it[;)]

Well, the resonse has been astounding! No one here going? I think it'd
be worth the effort just to upset the 'cloth cap'brigade!

I would have gone Paul but it clashes with the Stag Owners Club national and I have some appointments to meet at that one. It is only about 20 miles away but the TR Register charges a lot of money to get in so it's not worth attending for a quick visit on the Saturday or something like that.

I wonder if the TRDC is having an official presence again this year?

I will be going, but only on Saturday this year. I remember seeing that yellow drag car [:0] what a beast of a motor [}:)]

I think the price for Saturday is the same as for the whole weekend, check before you set off, much better to go on the Sunday when there is more to see and a much lower price.

Yup! Your right. Sat/Weekend £20 non member or Sunday £15 non member. Can't do the Sunday as it's my son's birthday party. Be there early Saturday though and maybe grab some bargains.

I'm going to be heading down to Malvern and will be camping friday till sunday :)

The "troublesome" green wedge that is KBA is still being surprisingly trouble-free at the moment (touch wood) and so all things being well she should be there also :)

The younger crew will be in force again this year as the TR Register has made us "official" now LOL [;)]

The TR Yoof Group is looking for a group leader and treasurer so if your a youngun with a Triumph do come along and say Hi.

be good to see you there John, I think Phil H has organised another display and visit from Mark Grinnall.

there are two horse shows going on at Malvern show ground the same time as the TR International show. So, there will be a lot of slow moving horse box lorries and trailers on the roads around Malvern. Be aware and take care. Oh yes! I beleive it's the RED gate for access to the TR show not yellow.

Well, I've arrived back home now after a very enjoyable weekend [:)] KBA did herself proud making it all the way to and back from Malvern without skipping a beat [:D]

I'll get some piccies from the weekend sorted once I've had chance to catch up on sleep!

Well Sunday morning came, and the weather gods kept the rain at bay.
An uneventful 160 mile run at mostly 80mph with the top down saw me
at Malvern for 11am.After i'd parked the Green monster,Phil Horsley
(the Grinnall nut)pulled in with his Ramstein -
Image
Had a quick word with him then off to find 'the TR YOOF'
Image
Great to see Wayne's injecting young blood into the Triumph marque.
Simon,it was great to finally meet you and KBA.
Image
Found Chris and Rob Turner who'd entered their Sprint in the concours
and we all enjoyed the wooden spoon contest won by 'Rivet'-
Image
I think it should have made car of the show, powered by a Stag v8!
More later.

See ya. Paul
