Just a note to the Eastern Canadian peeps, as this is a even numbered year, the 2008 Quebec British Car Day will be held in the beautiful village of Hudson, Quebec on Sunday, May 25th, 2008 from 9am until 4pm.

Hopefully the weather will be a little less british-like and treat us better than last year, and we will get a decent wedge turn-out !!!

Well, Sunday was probably the nicest day of the year so far, beautiful sunny skies and finally some decent temperatures without a trace of rain. The organizers ended up with over 430 cars at St-Thomas park, all be it a somewhat disappointingly soft wedge turn out with just 7 cars present ( 2 sevens and 5 eights) Best display without doubt went to the Singer club with their Brooklands Pit display re pleat with a couple of barn find/ orks-in-progress cars on display, and as usually the MG guys had the most single marque entries, followed by the Roll-Royce club who were in the midst of a road trip across the land....

Thanks to a heavy work load at the ol'job, and a ever growing family life pretty much got in the way of me getting the 'rumph anywhere near being showable, so a family trip in the minivan was the only way for me to get to the show this year.....at least I can now say the littlest of the family has now experienced his first car show [:D]

I also got a chance to meet a few old friends who I haven't seen since my ol' friend Peter Rduge passed away, and was glad to see his TR8 FHC is still in good hands with it's second owner.
Here are the wedge highlights, and a link to the "others" that I found interesting enough to capture (yes I still have a fair attraction to Mini's [:p])
