On John Clancy’s comment recently about the NEC got me thinking

That there has been no mention of it this year

• Is it on?
• Who is the organiser?
• What are the dates?
• Entry cost’s
• Are there a recommended B+B near?
• Whose cars are going on the stand this year?
• How many cars on stand.
• Is there a theme?

I think you know what I mean.

Rant over i just thinking of going that's all… [:D]

Steve, its definitely on, it was advertised in the last magazine, I think its the second weekend in November. There is usually about 8 cars on the club stand, which is organised by Phil Humphries.I think the entry cost is £12 for Saturday or Sunday. I dont know any B+Bs in the area.
I dont know whos cars are on the stand this year, I am a reserve, however if you want to put your car on the stand Im sure Phil would be very pleased as its not easy to fill such a large stand.

Thanks Chris I would love to put my car on the stand but unfortunately not this year …[:(]

May be next year as I am in the Process of arranging for the bonnet to be repainted after the fan blade snapped and put a dent in it , I had touched it up so I could see the summer (that’s a joke) through.

So if I am contacted next year I may put it in if I can get time off work ( we will see )

I will need to see if I can arrange a Scottish gang to come down for this year.

I have been given a list of some of the cars which will be on the TR Drivers club stand at the NEC. There is plenty to suit everyone, a genuine original(LHD) TR8 convertible, a concours winning TR7 convertible, A TR4 rally replica and much more. There will be a film running with exclusive footage shown by John Clancy.

I'll be there on Saturday, with some of my family. My inlaws are the sort of deviants who dress in leather and wrap themselves around throbbing bits of metal, and they'll be on the Suzuki Owners' Club stand.
