OMG I have just booked my hotel for the NEC in November, i don't know what came over me

Is there a TRDC discount code for booking tickets?

I take it nobody is going or knows about this small show then!

Is this the one where it cost10£ to park your car miles away then approx 30£ to go in?I might go then as it represents such good value especially as the best carpeted and most brightly lit hall is full of overpriced nearly new cars for sale by" respected classic car traders"Only slightly tongue in cheek,Steve.

Paul Lewis organizes everything for this show and he's often overseas working so I don't suppose he's seen your question Steve. Paul has discussed his plans with me and one or two others but we don't feel it's right for us to answer in case things have changed or we get something wrong. It will be an interesting stand yet again although unlikely to be as spectacular as the 2014 affair which it probably impossible to ever top.

A bit of an update on this.

I will be going Friday, Saturday and Sunday, driving down from Glasgow with one of my mates we are making a weekend of it.

Firstly the Friday i have a story to tell you, i was on Facebook one night and there was a competition to post a picture of you and your classic, so i did (thinking, nobody ever wins these things) and you guessed it i won two Friday tickets
After double checking with Lancaster Insurance,the show organizers, i will have tickets for the Friday.

Now need to to book Saturday and Sunday, Firstly i checked the the price for two people on the Nec classic car show site, for two Sat/Sun pack tickets is £74 + £1.50 transaction fee = £75.50.

I now have received the TRDC magazine with the discount code on the back page, but the code is only for day passes and if you use the code the price for Sat/Sun was £79.50 which is £4 more.

so actually cheaper to not use the discount code if you are going for the weekend.

anyway now looking forward to it and see you there.

Sorry for delay in letting people know what the stand theme is for this year.
The theme for the actual show is hero's and villains. I have adapted this theme and decided to have a couple of villains(or hero's) depending on how you look at it in the shape of a Grinnall and a TR40. These represent what could be done with our cars back in the day.

We also have a participant of this year's "Bullet Run" giving you their view on the event and details of next June's follow up in the peak district, spaces are limited.

Last but not least we have an author's corner with Steve Jackson, Andrew Poynter and John Clancy available with their new releases.

I am on crutches after snapping my Achilles tendon but will be there as much as I can.
