I was never turned on by the Japanese bikes (even though I owned one, a Yamaha 100 Twin Jet, which I bought new in 1966 for $450). The best looking bike ever was the 1968 Triumph Trophy (which I also bought new for $1,425.00). Classic lines that no other bike came close to. Although the Bonneville is usually cited as the best looking (leads in list of 12 best looking bikes) because of it's dual carbs they were the same bike that year (same cam etc). I could have bought a |Bonneville for another $75 but I liked the blue of the Trophy better than the red of the Bonneville. After getting used to the power, I found I could have used more with a second carb at highway speeds. Not many Trophy's around as the Bonneville gets all the attention. Wished I had one now. Wished I never sold it. Wished I never sold my Hillman station wagon. Wished I never sold my '71 Javelin. Wished I never sold my '55 Chevy. Wished I never sold my '54 Chevy.

I'll take the Pantera please! But there are a lot of nice cars there to choose from.

Wish I never sold my 64 1/2 Mustang convertible.
Wish I never sold my 79 VW Westfalia.
Glad I got rid of every other car I've ever dumped!
