John, fab photos mate. I love the Speke line up of 40 cars, looks like the end of a production line where the cars are about to go out to customers.
A favour to ask though, would you kindly email me a copy of my son popping up behind the cake please?
I think he has got the 7 bug because he is clearly looking at the Scalextric 7 and not the cake. That's my boy! I fear his Mum on the other hand would have been considering diving into the gateau!

Thanks for sharing, Calvin.

Great pictures John, as always [:)

Among the many interesting cars we saw over the weekend (& in Johns pictures) were JVC842V & JVC824V. Both were Canley development cars for the TR8 EFI system, one FHC & one DHC, and both in great condition. I wonder if those so similar registration numbers were just a coincidence or someone at Canley was having a little fun when registering the cars?

Awesome pictures. Surely a once in a lifetime experience. I am so jealous of everyone who was able to attend this and the VTR in North Carolina.

Tony, the numbers are just a coincidence, the factory had a block of 80 JVC---V numbers, just put on in any order.Whilst checking the Coventry "N" reg numbers whilst trying to find ACG 1-4, I found more than 300 Marinas and 200 Allegros.

Oh, I will. I have thoroughly enjoyed your previous videos. Hopefully the show season is winding down and you'll get the time to do the boring stuff. [;)]
