Hi,

Was booked into 24th Annual Classic Car at Knebworth today but as weather forecast was cr4p for today and is a two day show went up yesterday, very busy with some great cars and even a couple of TR7's other than mine [:)]. A snap or six of cars that caught my eye -

Set in a valley near the house there is plenty of room, this was taken before show opened to public so only half cars there at this stage -

There was one at a local show yesterday I chatted at length with the owner he didn't know of the connection with our cars:

Interesting Marina.... probably the rarest car there!

Thanks for sharing - and if I could 'bag' the Europa, please....

Hi,

Thanks gents, Andrew I think the Marina is a Munford conversion as opposed to Crayford, the other big convertible conversion company. As 'our ' resident Marina expert Roy will poss. confirm this if he views these pictures.

Cheers John

Great stuff as usual. Thanks John.

However as ever some frustration.

Could someone tell me what the white soft top not quite fully seen, beside the Blue TC is, I can't place it all.

Hi Hasbeen,

Sorry mate, from what I can remember it was a coach built car, from new as a lot of cars of this era where, based on a Morris or Austin chassis I think. Being coach built car likely to be unique today especially after this passage of time and the reason why you cant place it

The MG TC is also a very interesting car, here is what the owner say's about it -

Great set of pics as always John.

Interesting to see the Triumph 2000 with the TVR V8, with the 2000 being used extensively "back in the day" as a mule for all sorts of engines in development work, including the V8 of course.
