Who's going?
I've got a feeling it's going to be very busy this year as it's the joint MG show. My advice is to get there early. See you there.

Travelling up with Tony again this year. I'm looking forward to seeing the wall. So who's got the unenviable job of sticking all those pictures up, and then taking them all down again ?[:D]

I gonna have Carmel in the Cars for Sale area but I'm already thinking that selling her is not the path to happyness.. Anyway at least we'll be inside and I can get to talk about her a lot (yawn). Do you want to put any TRDC promo stuff on/in her?

Are all the halls heated this year so we won't have to dress like Eskimos?

Sadly I'm not going to make it this year (can't remember the last one I missed) having to work.

Hopefully there will be John's excellent round up of photos including the new photo wall.

Have a great day and don't forget your polar gear!

Cheers

Ian

The wall is done, I've just finished the Velcro on the backs of the pictures.I am struggling with trying to get the TR down for tomorrow as I have all the display boards in the landrover and works car trailer is off the road.

Also have the new membership pull up poster to show. Will be down early to help set up, see you tomorrow. Paul

Sorry, Paul.

You had better bring some more Velcro with you: another thirty or so latecomers already in the TR ready to bring tomorrow...

Many thanks for all who came and said hello at the tssc stand, it was great to see everyone. Also many thanks to the members who displayed their fantastic cars. The wedge wall had many admirers, so many thanks again for the response, but please keep sending them in.

Hope everyone enjoyed the day

Hi Paul,

Had a great day, thanks from myself, a club member, on putting a great display on the TRDC stand, the cool wall was awesome and I will get some pictures emailed across this week of mine.

Cheers John

Thanks to Paul TR8 for organising our stand and to Paul M, Dan and Mike Satchwell for helping put it together. Many thanks to all who brought their cars, it was a super display
It was a memorable day for me as I met Ted Schumacher from the US who supplied DWR568W, our TR8 to its original UK owner Ray Roberts.
I now know the complete history of the car since it was built in 1981.

We've arrived back in Cornwall after driving for about 150 miles in convoy with Steve Thomas (through quite horrific weather!) in his Aran Beige TR7 Coupe. Both cars ran flawlessly and despite the weather it was a lot of fun.

You don't half get some looks these days driving a wedge.

By the way, I've just looked through the latest issue of Triumph World - a really good stand out news item about the 40th anniversary run.
