members cool wall

Starting next year I plan to have a cool wall available at all of the main events throughout the year to celebrate the anniversary year of production. The idea being that you can come along to any event and place a picture of your car on the board. The board will then grow in size throughout the year. If you cannot attend then I will collect any photos via my email address or the club and post them on the board. Hopefully by the NEC we will have filled the board with a member's history of our lovely cars.

I probably will have different areas for example Speke. Limited editions etc

What are the thoughts on this?

Paul

Count me in, Paul, but can you find a wall large enough?

I think this is a great idea , please let us know when you want to start collecting photos , we should make this a sticky once you have decided to move forward.

We are currently working on some good ideas in the back ground and trying to establish a focal point for the pictures and size etc. there should be an advert coming out in the new year in the TR driver that will give the details but we will also put them on the Forum and Web.

Ideas are also that we could at the end produce a picture mosaic using the pictures from the members. the main picture would be something like Harris's initial drawings and hopefully Harris will sign it. The idea is that we can then auction it off in 2015 and present it at one of the shows.

If the idea becomes popular we could possibly do more with say ones of the cars that were exported or FHC.

ideas are always welcome.

we are also looking at taking a snap shot of the cars we have in whatever condition they are in, for example they might be still in restoration.

this is gathering momentum which is good, any ideas please post or email direct.

We now have a focal point for the cool wall. If you could send a picture of your car to the following email:trdc.editor@btinternet.com Andrew will collect all the photos together and get them printed. We will then display the photos on the cool wall at the events through out 2014,

Can you please ensure that the pictures are in jpeg format and the highest resolution possible. We hope that there is a good response and we will keep you updated as the wall progresses.

If you want to bring a photo along to events then please do.

We have had a great response so far but as we approach the first show (Stoneleigh in March) can you please, if you haven't already done so send a photo of your pride and joy or restoration project over.

The address is trdc.editor@btinternet.com.

regards
Paul

Just a bump - If you haven't sent an image in, what's keeping you?
We could really do with a White FHC with a boot rack and, if possible, a left-hooker!
