A small local Motor Club celebrated 110 Years so organised a turn up & see afternoon / evening - bring what you have last Sunday.
Lots of Club Rally cars plus lots of classics.

Only 5 miles from my house & bumped into 2 TR7's never seen - so more up here in Yorkshire now. Most I have seen outwith a TR Drivers Meet[:D]

Some rare cars below all local to York.

The BMW E30 \ M3. The first, and the greatest. Lithe, and not an overweight 'Bahn-slogger. And a left-hooker, so it could even be a real one...

In Europe this Mini is used for Grass Track Racing - find a field -mark out a track using white painted lines & go fast - racing other lightweight cars.
You can use very cheap cars in different classes - 1000cc Nissans etc so young children aged over 12 can race in their own class.
Goo[:D]d fun

Cool, thanks for the explaination!
-Kinda thought it was some kind of short track car judging by the screened windscreen.

We have something similar called "mini-legends" which are basically 3/4 sized "40's" style cars with bike engines. They race either on dirt or asphalt.
