When was the last time you saw 3 'P' Reg 7's [:0] in the same car park [?] one of which was a launch press car with a very low chassis number, manufacturesd in Jan 76

Regret of the day, not getting the phone number of the lady in the green Spitfire, she was very easy on the eye [;)]

Cheers John

John,

As before you make my 7V8 look better than it is..............

I can't remember a time when I was the only DHC in the village. Both of the yellow and orange Speke's had V8's to go with their Vitesse wheel conversions and american spec bumpers..

The torquoise V8DHC was advertised for sale at £4,995 with an Efi engine. My photo of it was dreadful but I got a reasonable one of the engine bay. The red TR5 looked very smart and is probably worth between 6 - 8 times of the Wedge's asking price.

It was good to meet up with old and new faces. Have a good day in Bromley tomorrow guys, I hope it stays dry for you.

I've seen Alans LOE press car before, but not the other one.

I hope they all make Billing.

Hi Roy,

Alan built the other car for his good lady, so hopefully his and haers will be at Billing [8D] I think Alan said the orange car has a even earlier build date to his yellow car, according to his heritage certificate.

Cheers John

I think the yellow ex press car is ACG 197. it was built before ACG 97 but had a later chassis number.

Hi Chris,

I am sure Alan mentioned this, the orange one was built before the yellow but once again i think it has a slightly latter chassis number, make's you wonder when they actually assigned chassis numbers. I have heard the rumor that they actually missed out some chassis numbers [?]

Cheers John
