Pretoria Triumph Sports Car Club 30th anniversary

The Pretoria Triumph Sports Car Club of South Africa celebrated its 30th anniversary in January this year and to celebrate a weekend away was arranged.
We were joined by some of the Johannesburg club members.
The trip was to the old mining village of Kaapschehoop about 300km away. The town is now famous for the wild horses which roam around freely, apparently left over from the Anglo Boer war.
Out of the 22 cars we had 7 sevens and an 8, there were also 2 sixes, 3 threes, a Spitfire, a GT6 and some plastics.
2 of the 7s were V8s Terry's Rover powered FHC and my 1UZFE powered car that went beautifully and did not miss a beat on its first long trip.
We had 4 of the members who attended the first meeting 30 years ago and are to be thanked for taking the initattive and starting the club.
