Mothers day sports car show.

The Qld Oz Triumph club, [TOSAQ], has been running a sports car show
every mothers day, for many years, in a park in my district, only
25Km from home. Last sunday was the last. The show is to be moved
to another site.
It was promoted as the last, & both saturday, & sunday were perfect
days, so the turn up was great.
I had never seen so many Triumphs, there must have been over 35 car.
Not many sedans, the most numerous were the Stags, followed by
TR6s. The 7/8s had 7 cars, & were about average of the others. As
it was the last, my son took a few days leave came home to drive
the 8, so we had both cars there.
With about 700 cars, including "sports sedans", there were a few I
had never seen before. A few yank iron from the 60s, which we never
got in the day, & a few euros. One I liked was a Jowett Javelin
which is one I had not seen before.
Our shows are different to those you report in the UK. The park
opened at 700AM sunday, & by 12.30 the exodus was well under way,
nothing like your 2 day things. However, I loved it, particularly
all those Triumphs, & a few days of common interest with my son,
now he is a man.
