Tempted but it's a long way for a day trip!

Also, as is often the case for this sort of thing the entry fees seem a bit backward to me - come in a non-retro car and park for free and see all the cars. Come in a retro car and be part of the displays for the public to look and and you have to pay £15 to make the show the public come to for nothing - doh! |Are we being taken for a ride or wot?

Hi Gordon,
Zoe texted me last night about going to this, but 140+ miles there and 140+ miles back to PAY to display my car for someone else who gets in for FREE [8] to look at [B)] Not for me i am affraid!!!
I have no problem with paying to display at a 'classic car show' esp when any form of charity or good cause involved but doubt this is the case here [?]
Enjoy the day those that do go,
Cheers John

Mmmm! Didn't notice the very odd entry price system.
Should be some nice cars in the public car park then if you get in for free [;)][:D].

How strange. I hadn`t noticed that either. If I do go, I will just park in the public car park then.

Well I went on Sunday, and I have to say that it was an excellent day out and well worth the £15 (you had to pay really - I defy anyone with an old car to just leave it in the public car park!)

There were three 7`s including mine, the other two were coupes - one was Persian Aqua (MrT`s I think?) and a sky blue one which I am sure I recognise but cannot put a name to at the moment.

There really was a brilliant array of cars with some very friendly people. You could even take your car round the (very short) track for three runs of two laps each (extra £15 I think) but I wasn`t brave enough. It was great to watch - from drift cars going round to 2CV`s.

I will certainly go next year and would recommend it to anyone. I will try to post some pics later.
