Did anyone go? Any photos to put up? Any worthwhile information to post?
We went to a local car show here but it was such a wash-out we had to bail out after only an hour or so as it was turning into a mud bath. And we all know how well these cars travel on sodden ground!

Sunday was a bit drab on the weather front and it seemed to drift by in a haze after the festivities of the night before! [:D]
Saturday was great though lovely sunshine and a good collection of carsin the arena including the TR6 40th anniversary and our Yoof group making some noise!
One thing that was striking was the lack of wedges this year! We only managed 5 [:0] in the marque session in the arena on Sunday and although there were plenty around the showground during the weekend they certainly were down on numbers from the times when we used to dominate one half of the entry road to the arena!!
Why do the wedge owners not want to get involved in the arena??
Great evening entertainment this year though including the "Six on the Beach" hawaian shirt party complete with welly wanging, coconut shy and a surf board machine [:D] follwed on Saturday by the big disco which was a laaugh as ever.
Highlight of the weekend was carrying off the left over beer barrel to the Yoof camp and collecting everyone for the party on Saturday by cruising the showground in the back of a VW pick up van [:D]
