Update and I have actually used BRP again - see the video!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bt0rQYGo ... ffQEHbN8P5
Not a great result as it was the co-driver's first ever event but where we didn't go wrong on the tests we were actually quite quick.
I had also taken part in the Speedfair Rally at Knockhill in July and got into the "shoot out" and into the last 6[:)] If only I hadn't put one of the rear tyres off the tarmac and onto some gravel[:I]
The trouble is the engine is making some very loud knocking noises from the bottom end, in fact you can hear it on the video. It's a shame as the Sprint engine is great to use and sounds great too - lots of revs!
Now I need to build a new engine for the car.
But I'll be using the DHC in Club Triumph events again next year so not the end of competition in TR7s[:)]
And the Manx? Just 4 years now before I can get a licence to co-drive so it's not over by any means.
Next update June 2012.
