will upload some pics now and try and pop them on tonight, myself had a good time there today and caught up with a few old faces and met some new ones, and had a good rummage round the autojumble, and yes it was bloody cold, left about 8 and 6 deg, most the way up then it showed 4 deg and was sleeting on the way up......... and not helped when getting to the car park having them try to guide you to the farthest part of the grounds possible to park............ seems the usual thing they do at car shows, they do the same at beaulieu, you get directed past all the empty spaces right to the back of the car parks...........[B)] but i digress, good day today,.........[:D]

I thought I saw Jay Human with a little boy in his arms walking through the autojumble.

Just got home from Stoneleigh with two heavy SHSKPA Charity Tins.
A big thank you to all who generously contributed by signing the bonnet of the Rally-Accent - and taking the surplus garage oddments off our hands.

Good to see everyone today, even if the weather was pants! Good pics Dave, those first 3 FHCs in your collection are my car, John Clancy's car & John Lucas's car - 3 very nice coupes.

Found quite a few bits & pieces in the autojumble, to be cleaned & join the useful spares department at the back of my garage[:D]

My pal and I set off at 5.30am, with a good run down, albeit a bit damp.

Nice to have a day out, but the £60 fuel cost plus entry do make you expect more from the show which seems to have fewer stall holders year on year, with less 'individuals' selling off their surplus stuff.

By mid day weather pants and a bit nippy too.

The only TR7 bits I bought were a few stickers. And only one bargain; a new old stock Dolomite Sprint distributor complete with NOS Lucas cap, rotor arm, spark shield, points etc for under £20. I smiled all the way home :-) An absolute steal.

I was hoping to come home with another car too, but not much choice, which was probabbly down to the weather somewhat.

So - what was your show bargain?

i got one of those stealth electronic ignition kits off the accuspark stand for 25 quid, been on ebay for about 37 from some sellers, also got another t shirt..... [:D]and of course the screen surround from maxwell.........[:D]much appreciated, and great to meet everyone, cant wait for john to upload his group pic and then we can start adding the names.........

and thought the one car was the one you came up in tony as saw you walking from the back of the car park as i was heading their to take some pics...... must say the fuel costs now do make picking shows to go to more selective...........
