A nice crisp £10 note to the SHSKPA-fund would be nice; two would be even better! I'll dig it out and bring it with me 'just-in-case'!

SHSKPA? Check out my website www.team-phoenix.co.uk

<i>'SHSKPA exists to support around 1,000 renal patients of St Helier Renal Unit and its satellites throughout S.W London, Surrey and northern West Sussex. SHSKPA is run by renal patient and carers, it supports patients and the unit to the tune of £50k annually – all raised via bequests, donations and fund raising events of all types'</i>

Weather looks a disaster tomorrow in the Midlands for this show. It's a good job it's indoors so I hope it doesn't dampen the attendance.

Dave.....

Clean the overflow chambers to get rid of crap that'll be in them
replace in-line fuel filter clean out the metal fuel rod with a blow gun on a conpressor replace rubber fuel lines and clips
£10-£15 from general motorfactors you could also at this point replace your overflow chamber gaskets but you will probably have to get the off S&S and the like.

It only takes the tiniest bit of crud to make them overflow

battery went flat from turning car over, tried again after bit of charge put in it and still nothing and stilloverflowing but didnt smell of petrol, had filled tank up on way over, could there be any water in the tank and would this be at top or bottom of tank once settled? i should know but brain block tonight, also, the jets were right down!!!!!!! they must of wound themselves down with the vibration of the journey over, and also the carb rubber mountings have started to split also, just from the journey over [:(!]

wont be up the show in it

Set off this morning, decided not to take the TR - right decision. Temperature was 8 when I set off but quickly dropped and ended up at 2.5 degrees. Lots of large puddles and rain.

I visited the TR Drivers stand but thought I would come back at 1.30 to say hello, but by 12.30 I had exhausted the stalls and was freezing so I headed off home.

The show is not what it used to be, very few stalls with anything of interest to me. The event would be lost without the Clubs who made a big effort and the main TR suppliers so well done them. Not much for the small chassis Triumphs I thought.

Never mind, I enjoy the drive to Stonleigh, over to Cirencester and up the fosseway.

It was cold, the TR Drivers members who where all day were very cold by the time I left (around 2pm). Good to catch up with everyone and I even got my Brother out (former TR7 and V8 owner) trying to get him to buy another One.
