The 'Car Park' arrangement depends on the available space at the Show Ground.
Some spaces were narrow but long so the cars were parked in a chevron shape - others were square so each car was facing each other backed onto the square boundary.
The TR Drivers Club pitch was quite large & so many turned up they had to be squeezed in very tightly.
There was still plenty of room to walk round each car & even have a chair to sit on next your car to catch the first of the British Summer which is continuing this week [:D]

Fantastic turn out!, thanks to all who supported the 'Special Feature' for our lovely 'Wedges'. It was very nice to see Luc again, travelling all the way from Belgium in his gold dhc. Also lots of other TR7-8 cars covering a lot of miles to join in!

Finally!, we were blessed with fine weather on our 3rd year. I was very excited to see THREE rows of beautiful TR7's and 8's on display. Jim did a brilliant job of lining up the cars on the stand. To add to the fantastic display of Triumph TR's, just next door the TR Register had another 3 rows of all other TR's, from 2's to 6's, 51 non 'Wedge' TR's in all, and had kindly donated their 'Wedges' to our collection.

Also, the Grinnall Register had some lovely modified TR7's on show!!!

I enjoyed my 2 early morning drives to the park in my TR7, the sun was shining brightly and not a single car to be seen on the lovely 'twisty' Cheshire lanes, just what my 7 loves best!!!!

Thanks again to everyone, lots of public interest in the cars, and the same person who asked me last year,(a show visitor), asked me again this year! Do I want to sell my TR7? NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

Cheers Stuart

Hello Jimg,
We had 24 cars on Saturday and 24 on Sunday with 2 very rare examples arriving too late and left outside on the car park. Thirteen of the cars exhibiting on Sunday, were different examples to those on Saturdays line up, so in total 37 TR7 & TR8 cars attended plus two left at the gate = 39! A great success for the 'Flying Wedge' and lots of interest in the cars, I spotted lots of people taking pics of the cars, even young kids seemed impressed! Again Classic Car Weekly have reported on the success of the show, and Classic & Sportscar Mag did a small feature along with Classics Monthly Magazine, all great publicity for our favourite cars!! can't wait for 2014!!! Thanks!
Regards
Stuart
