Are we planning a Forum get together on Sunday as it looks like this is the best day for most people?

Cheers

That's a good idea as Tony and myself missed the last
meeting at Stonleigh because Tony was rummaging through
boxes of bits and couldn't drag himself away. [:D]

Some of you boys really should get your priorities right
and plan your holidays a wee bit better. [:p]

See you all Sunday with my autograph book in hand.

Roy

I've just been speaking to that very nice Mr. Chris Cunnington and the TR Drivers Club area will be the usual place just south of the concours hall. Let's get all these great looking wedges together there please and really show off just how good these cars are to the traditional TR enthusiasts. Don't let any officials direct you anywhere else - tell anyone trying to you're with the TR Drivers Club and need to park there.

Harris Mann telephoned me earlier and he will be coming to see us on the Sunday so remember your cameras. He'd just been reading the latest edition of the TR Driver and I think he appreciates the enthusiasm for the TR7/8 range amongst our membership.

Now I am gutted I can't make it. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. Harris kindly signed the inside of my boot in 2005 when I had my other Sprint. A very humble, nice Man. I would love to get one of his watering cans, are there any pictures out there?

I'll suggest 2pm to all the chaps but of course, the Register may want to drag them into the show ring for an interview at some point. But if we all agree 2pm and prepared to hang around if necessary then we can get things sorted.

No doubt the front cover of the latest TR Driver has been causing a bit of attention Roy! Who wouldn't want to thumb through the pages with that beauty on the cover... not only the car!!!

Hi,

May be handy info for some of you ladies and gents, just seen this on TR Register forum and i quote -

If you are intending to get to the IWE via junction 7 on the M5 (Worcester South) please be aware that there are roadworks immediately you turn off the motorway on the A44 roundabout before you turn left towards Malvern on the A4440.

There also roadworks/resurfacing further along this road which brought me to a standstill this morning at the Powick roundabout on my way to work in Worcester. This stretch of so called 'southern link' road is a bit of a traffic nightmare on a good day and will be it's usual busy self being a Friday afternoon. If you do go this way I would turn left at the A38 roundabout before you cross the River Severn and access the showground through Upton-on Severn and if you're travelling from the south get off the M5 and go onto the M50 taking the first exit A38 nothbound and again get to the IWE through Upton.

Cheers John
