We've just arrived back home in under 5 hours. Amazing really.

An excellent weekend and some amazing cars. Sadly I couldn't sneakily get either TUD started or the Victory edition otherwise we'd have scarpered with an extra car or two. I tell a lie, I did get the Victory started but it cut out after about ten seconds. Shame as it sounded like a really nice engine.

I hope Steve Thomas's journey home is okay as it's a long haul and he had a lot of stress just getting up there.

Hi, thanks for the concern john, got home just after midnight. Traffic on the M25 wasn't too bad and I too made better time than expected. Van went like a dream which is more than I can say about the car and the trailer! Even had more stress this morning when I got a gatepost stuck between the wheel and rear lights on the trailer!

I'd like to say thanks to all the people who lent or offered a hand over the weekend, especially Gaz, you guys (of course), Paul W and many others I can't put a name to.

Like I said.. Never again! See you all next year!

Steve

Hi,
Absolute eeeeeeeexxxxxxxccccccccceeeeeeeellllllllllnnnnnnnnttttttttt weekend, lovely weather [8D] great cars and even better company what more do you want. As ever a pleasure to meet up with the 'Normal Suspects' but great to meet Lebochet 9 and Zoe and mate Sandy and of course Steve not to mention John Clancy, Mr Turner and son, Rosie TR Phil and family ect ect.Road run was great, sight of the run was Zoe and 'Amber' blowing the doors of everyone including us V8 powered cars [:0] and approx 70 mph [;)] must be all that 'girl power' sitting in it
Saturday evening quizz we finnished 2nd [:0] and what a fine selection of beers we tasted Saturday evening, even had a couple of pints of real ale which tasted good on the basis it was FREE !!!! We also prooved to Zoe that a open bonnet is a magnet to everyone, we opened 'Ambers' and was swamped by on lookers, poss looking for the secret of huge speed when she over took every one!!! Laurance tried the same with his company Opel [:D]
Didnt get to bed till stooppiidd aclock Sunday morning approx 2.30 am but WE WERE THE LAST ONE'S STANDING, JUST [;)] Full english breakfast in a Indian Resturant was a bit bizzare but was welcomed! Great show on Sunday even more cars and friends arriving. Robs FHC is a very clean and as normal for Rob is for sale! Paul W turned up looking knackered with Monster energy drink in hand, see thread on 'Caption Competition' for futher details. Missed Sunday's run but everyone returned ok, Pauls Grinnal had slightly modified axle location! Well done to all prize winners, chuffed for my learned friend Stevie A totaly deserved. Won nowt myself except a bottle of fizzy wine and that belongs to Sandy as her and Zoe left early as they needed to break down on the motorway!! and left there tickets with me.
A few pictures-
