Hi John,
Darren and I must have missed you on the Green. We were there between 6.15 to 6.50pm but then got called away as my wife's car was being AA relayed back home. (One of the plastic wheel arch liners had dropped on to the wheel)
There were about 3 to 4 times as many cars as their earlier gathering this year when the rain threatened but never arrived. I got to see my first Aerial Atom in the flesh. No doors and all made of scaffolding. It took the driver 2 minutes to make his way out of it. It must be a demon to keep clean. There was a Herald fitted with a Stag engine, loads of Astons and about 10 Wedges dotted in between all sorts of classics. Mine had to stay at home as the MOT ran out whilst on holiday. I didn't realise yours was the Red Speke FHC, I was looking for the silver beast.
I met up with Stuart, the local TRDC group leader (he lives in Bushey as well) so I should be making it to some of the local group meetings in the future.
I only managed to get a few photos on the mobile before we had to rush off.
