Great pics John - what a fantastic selection of cars!

The Allegro looks tidy, & a Skoda owner with a sense of humour [:)]

That Amphicar in your last picture was at the Triumph day at Prescott last year - don't think he did the hillclimb though[:D]

My favourite? The Traction Avant - just love that French style.

Hi Ron,

You are a lucky man, got a soft spot for Mopars, a Hemi Road Runner would be on my wish list if i ever won the lottery.

Such a diverse range of cars there from Mini countryman ( the original NOT BMW ) to Ferrari F40, two of those there [:0]. I liked the Alfa Montreal and of cause the Raleigh Choppers bikes [:p]

As usal at the end of the event, the main road is lined each side with literaly thousands of people who cheere everyone [8D]

If you do one midweek event next year do this one, less than 10 miles of junction 10 of the M1, be quick though passes go within a day or two.

Cheers John

oh no John ...not that lucky at all.

It was my first car , which I bought for 200$ ((I was 15 at the time))
First mistake, bought it from the boss of my Mom sight unseen...when I saw it the first time on a dark rainy night [B)] just before taking it home with my Dad, it was parked in the far back corner of a yard, half in a bush...it was very rusty, and btw it wasn't a roadrunner either , it was a Satellite Sebring, there was no hemi under the hood, it was just a 318 2bbl v8. Half way home the oil pressure light came on too ......I had the car a little more than a year, spent a lot of time and what little money I had fixing it up to make it look half decent (it was painted to resemble a ROadrunner ;) ) and then sold it to a guy who used it for a demo-derby.
With the money i made back, I bought my first fox body Mustang [:p][:p][:p][:p][:p][:p]
